Partner Programme

Now onboarding a founding group of partners

Build a practice on open-source HR and CRM

Refer opportunities, resell subscriptions or deliver implementations across Horilla HRMS and Horilla CRM. Register your deals, earn recurring commission on Horilla Cloud, and get listed in our public partner directory.

Applying is free and takes a few minutes. No commitment until you sign the Partner Agreement.

Why Horilla

Two products, one partner relationship

Most vendors give you one thing to sell. Horilla gives you an HRMS and a CRM under a single agreement, in both a managed and a self-hosted form.

HRMS and CRM

Two mature products, sold separately or together. One agreement, one commission relationship, two pipelines.

Open source at the core

Horilla is LGPL-2.1. Customers can read the code, self-host and leave, which removes the lock-in objection before you meet it.

Cloud and self-hosted

Recurring subscription revenue through Horilla Cloud, or implementation and managed-service work on customer infrastructure.

Backed by Cybrosys

Built and maintained by Cybrosys Technologies, with an engineering team behind your escalations rather than a ticket queue.

How you work with us

Three ways to partner

Pick one, or combine them. Your partner type is recorded separately from your tier, so growing your capability does not mean renegotiating the relationship.

Refer

Introduce an opportunity and hand it over. We handle the sales cycle, contracting and delivery.

  • Lowest effort to first revenue
  • No delivery obligation
  • Commission on Cloud subscriptions

Resell

Invoice your own customer under a wholesale arrangement and own the commercial relationship end to end.

  • You set the customer price
  • You own billing and renewal
  • Available at Premier tier

Implement

Deliver configuration, data migration, integration, training and ongoing support on your customers' behalf.

  • Your services revenue stays yours
  • Product certification per module
  • Escalation path into engineering

Tiers

Three tiers, earned on delivery

Tier reflects capability and track record, not a fee. You move up by certifying people and keeping customers, and your tier is reviewed on a set cycle rather than negotiated.

Registered

Where every partner starts, including referral-only partners.

Expected of you
A completed application, a signed agreement and basic product enablement.
You get
Partner directory listing, deal registration, standard sales resources, standard support and introductory training.

Certified

Partners who implement Horilla themselves and hold a live customer base.

Expected of you
At least one certified resource, an active customer base and acceptable retention and support quality.
You get
Everything in Registered, plus a higher recurring Cloud commission while you service the account, a partner badge, priority support and co-marketing eligibility.

Premier

Resale eligible

Established practices running Horilla as a significant line of business.

Expected of you
Multiple certified resources, sustained revenue, strong retention and several successful implementations.
You get
Everything in Certified, plus the highest recurring commission, wholesale resale pricing, dedicated account management, a priority ticket queue and joint case studies.
On the numbers. Tier thresholds, commission rates, resale discounts and payment terms are set out in the Partner Agreement and the Partner Programme Guide, both of which we share with you during the application process, before you are asked to sign anything.

What you get

The parts that actually matter

A public directory listing

Your company on the Horilla partner directory, filterable by country, product and tier, with enquiries routed to you.

Deal registration

Register an opportunity and have it recorded against your company, with duplicate checks and an auditable attribution trail.

Recurring Cloud commission

Certified and Premier partners earn commission on net Cloud subscription fees collected, for as long as they service the account.

Certification, per product

Separate HR and CRM tracks, so a team certifies on what it actually sells rather than sitting one generic exam.

Sales and marketing material

Decks, one-pagers and brand assets you can put your own name next to, with co-marketing at higher tiers.

A real escalation path

You provide first-line functional support; genuine product issues escalate to Cybrosys and, when needed, to engineering.

Getting started

From application to first deal

Questions

Before you apply

What does it cost to become a partner?

Submitting an application is free, and there is no obligation until you sign the Partner Agreement. Any commercial commitments attached to a tier are set out in that agreement and shared with you beforehand.

How is commission calculated?

Cloud commission is a percentage of net subscription fees actually collected, excluding taxes, refunds and third-party payment charges, and the rate depends on your tier. Statements and payments run on a fixed cycle.

Rates, the payment cycle and clawback conditions for cancellations or refunds are stated in the Partner Agreement rather than negotiated per deal.

Do I have to be certified to join?

No. Registered partners do not need a certified resource, which makes referral-only partnerships straightforward. Certified and Premier tiers do require certified people, and certification is per product: Horilla HR and Horilla CRM are separate tracks.

Who owns the customer relationship?

This is defined explicitly in the agreement rather than left to custom, including how a registered deal is attributed to you and what happens to that attribution over time. We would rather have that conversation before a deal closes than after one.

Can I sell self-hosted Horilla?

Horilla is LGPL-2.1, so anyone is free to download, deploy and modify it. No partnership is required and there is no licence to resell.

The partner programme covers Horilla Cloud subscriptions and Enterprise engagements, where there is subscription revenue to share. Implementation and support work on self-hosted deployments is your own business, and that revenue is yours.

What support am I expected to provide?

Partners provide first-line functional support to their own customers, meaning the configuration and how-to questions. Genuine product defects escalate to Cybrosys, and to the engineering team when they need to.

Can I partner for both HR and CRM?

Yes, and product specialisation is recorded separately from your tier and your partner type. A partner can be certified on HR, work referral-only on CRM, and change either without renegotiating the relationship.

Apply to the partner programme

Tell us about your company and how you would like to work together. Our partnerships team follows up on every application.
